Sacmi Ceramic Innovation Forum is the first worldwide live event of the Imola-based cooperative company dedicated to sustainability and digitisation in the ceramic industry.
The first virtual forum on innovation in the world of tiles will be held on 9th and 10th November. A two-day event with free access to the leading experts in the sector to discuss how digitisation and sustainability have become the two key concepts in the ceramic industry of the future.
The environmental impact of industrial production is an urgent issue worldwide. Difficult challenges are also expected in the ceramic industry: reducing emissions and increasing energy efficiency, not only to meet standards, but also to gain new market share. The focus will be on both digitization and the Green Economy, illustrating how the latter can give companies vital support when it comes to using new technologies to rethink process flows. These topics will be discussed in a programme full of round tables, insights and international guests.
The Forum inaugurates the relaunch of an intense season of live online events – Sacmi Ceramic Innovation Days – which began with the first two dates in July and which, from November to early 2021, will provide an opportunity to get to know all the Group’s new plant engineering and technological innovations.
