“United we shop: Coop delivers groceries free of charge to seniors and people in need”
Coop is networking with municipalities and the world of associations, providing the sales network to activate “L’unione fa la spesa” (United we shop), a new solidarity project of free delivery of groceries to the most vulnerable people: the elderly, the sick and people with low immune defences.
The Cooperative dedicates to this project the resources coming from “1 for all 4 for you”, the initiative with which 1% of the value of purchases of Coop products (Origin line) goes to initiatives dedicated to the community. The beneficiaries of the initiative are identified directly by voluntary organizations or associations. The service is also activated to support health workers involved in the emergency.
